Our Story
Welcome to Lyons Pride Pet Sitting! As a family run service, we are devoted to animal care and passionate about offering exceptional services for every pet. Our love for animals is at the heart of what we do, guiding us every step as we create a truly caring, warm and gentle environment for their well-being.
From a young age, a deep love for animals began to grow, starting with a beloved cat and playful hamster. As years went on, that connection only strengthened. By the teenage years, the arrival of a much-loved dog deepened that bond even further, shaping a lasting passion for both canine and feline care. These early relationships laid the foundation for the dedication, compassion, and trust that guides everything today.
For many years, we enjoyed the company of an African Grey Parrot, an iguana, and a budgie, along with a variety of tropical and pond fish. Each pet has left a mark on our hearts and inspired our mission.
Before launching Lyons Pride Pet Sitting, we devoted ourselves to voluntarily caring for dogs and cats, including spending months with a gentle Labrador whose heart would break at drop-off. He now enjoys life in Australia! We've also cared for a spirited Hungarian Vizsla, an adorable Cockapoo puppy and a beautiful Ragdoll cat. These invaluable experiences deepened our dedication to animal care and inspired us to bring our vision to life.

With every booking that requires a home visit of more than 15 minutes, we provide a complimentary household management and security service.

We provide photo and video updates so that you can stay connected with your pet while you're away.

If your return home is delayed, we'll provide continued care.

We can cater to last minute requests or emergency bookings for anyone that may need to travel unexpectedly, work late or deal with emergencies.

Our sitters carry pet first aid kits, so they're fully prepared to deal with any minor incidents that do not require a visit to the vets.

All our Sitters carry Incident Report Forms to document any accidents, health concern's or unusual behaviour.
