Puppy Walks/Visits

Puppy walks and visits run;

9am to 3pm - Monday to Friday

and *Saturday afternoon.

Price:

£15 (15 minutes)

£20 (30 minutes)

We do not walk on our 15 minute drop-in, but offer a quick toilet break.

Our 30 minute and 1 hour drop-in's, are tailored to your puppy's needs and age, and can be a mixture of indoor play and outdoor exploration, building up over time so that they can eventually go on full walks.

While we love providing home drop-in's and walks for our puppies, we no longer offer puppy visits once they reach 8 months old, as by this stage, they're ready for longer adventures and can be assimilated into a group walk.

Things You Should Know

We believe in full transparency when it comes to pricing, as well as other things you should know about, so there are no surprises waiting for you.  Our goal is to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our services and any additional costs, so it allows you to make informed decisions.  By providing this information upfront, we aim to build trust and confidence in our services, ensuring that your experience is smooth and worry-free from start to finish.

Our Service

During weekdays, pick-up's for our walks, or home visits are organised into three time slots - morning (9am to 10am), midday (11am to 12pm) and afternoon (1pm to 2pm).  Saturdays, our walks are organised into one time slot - afternoon.  We do not walk on Sunday.

We walk in all weather; rain or shine!  Please make sure your dog is comfortable by providing a coat on cold winter days, or waterproof jacket for those wetter days, and a spare towel at home for towelling off after muddy or rainy walks.

On every walk, we carry a generous supply of poop bags, water and collapsible bowls for your dogs comfort, as well as a first aid kit to treat any minor incidents that may occur.

For rewards or training during our walk, owners can provide treats for their dog.  Treats help us with recall.

For owners who are comfortable with their dog being walked off-lead, we will initially walk them solo for the first few sessions to assess their behaviour and recall ability (We go to either a safe enclosed space, or use a dog training line).  After this initial assessment period, and provided we are confident that they come back reliably and immediately, we will let them off-lead during future walks.  Owners would need to sign an off-lead walking consent form.

All dogs in our care must wear collar's with the owner's contact information.  This ensures quick contact in case of an emergency, in addition to being a legal requirement.

We may place some dogs on double or triple leads to ensure better control management during walks to a park.

We only accept dogs onto a group walk if they are well socialised, able to interact positively and remain calm on a loose lead.  This ensures the group dynamic isn't upset and makes for an enjoyable and stress free walk for everyone.

For the safety of all, we are unable to accept dogs with a history of aggressive behaviour.

Depending on our rota and your location, your dog will be picked up either on foot or by car.  All vehicles are fully insured and fitted with secure dog harnesses designed for travel.

For the safety and comfort of all the dogs in our care, we operate a 'Dog Walking Policy'.  We respectfully ask our customers to read and adhere to the conditions in this policy to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
