We provide dedicated, reliable care for your small animal friends!  Whether you have rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, or other small animal, we are here to provide a safe, comfortable environment in your home, while you're away.  Our goal is to ensure your pets feel happy, healthy and most importantly, loved.

Small animal sitting offers owners the opportunity to travel or work long hours knowing the well-being of their beloved pet is being met in the comfort and safety of their own home.   

Our small animal sitting service runs from 9:30am until 7pm,

Monday to Sunday

What's included?

Feeding, by following the exact routine and portion sizes.

​

Refill water containers with fresh, clean water.

​

Cleaning food and water containers.

​

Provide any specific treats as per instructions.

​

Ensure living quarters are free from waste.  This may include spot cleaning and/or replacing soiled bedding with fresh bedding.

​

For small animals that are sociable and open to interaction, time spent petting or playing with them.

​​

Light grooming, such as brushing fur (as specified).

​

Check for any visible signs of stress, injuries or health concerns.

​

Ensure the living quarters are safe, secure and escape-proof.

​​

Administering medication.

​

1 or 2 visits per day (as required).

​

Photo/video updates.

​

Providing continued care if your trip is delayed.

In addition, we also provide a complimentary household management and security service, which includes:

Watering plants (within reason)

​

A visual security inspection of your home

​

Taking in post and deliveries

​

Emptying waste bin, and putting out / taking in rubbish bins

​

Lights on and off (if required)

​

Curtains/blinds open/closed (if required)

Things You Should Know

We believe in full transparency when it comes to pricing, so there are no surprises waiting for you.  Our goal is to ensure that you have a clear understanding of any additional costs, so it allows you to make informed decisions.  By providing this information upfront, we aim to build trust and confidence in our services, ensuring that your experience is smooth and worry-free from start to finish.

Our pricing is per standard enclosure for a 15-30 minute visit.  We charge £5 for each additional enclosure.  

​

Fees for larger enclosures, such as aviaries or custom habitats will vary depending on the size and complexity of care required.  Please contact us for a quote.

​

We will replace soiled bedding with fresh bedding, however if you would like to book an enclosure clean-up service which will include your usual routine of a thorough clean and sanitisation, we charge a flat fee of £15 for a one off clean.

​

​​We do not offer a feeding service for reptiles (except iguanas, tortoises and terrapins).

​

A seasonal surcharge of 25% applies to bookings on 24 December, and between 27 to 31 December.  Bank Holidays are charged at double time.

​

We offer a 15% discount (rounded down) on twice daily visits.  You will see that these are already reflected in our prices.​​

​

​Watering plants (within reason), such as up to 15 houseplants or garden plants is included as part of our complimentary household management service.  We are happy to take care of more plants, or provide a garden water feed for an additional £10 per feed.

​

Key Collection (including registration) is charged at £15 (we waiver this charge for repeat customers).  Customers can collect their keys directly from us after the service ends, or can arrange our key drop off service for a fee of £10.

 

An Emergency visit to the Vets will be charged at £25 per hour plus the cost of transport to and from the practice.

 

An Admin fee of £5 will be charged for extended bookings.

​

A £10 late payment fee will be applied to any payments not received on time, and 1.5% added for each consecutive day that an outstanding balance is due.

​

Medication added to food is included as a complimentary service, while topical and oral administration of medication is charged at £5 per instance.

 

A shop visit for emergency supplies will be charged at £25 plus the cost of the items.

How the Process Works

Make a Reservation

Make a reservation by completing the Booking Form or by sending us an email.  We'll get back to you promptly to confirm your booking, and at the same time, ask for further details about your small animals care and any additional services you may require.

Preparation

Once we have confirmed your booking, we will arrange to visit you at home to collect your keys and go through your small animals feeding and schedule, medical needs and behaviour.  We will also go through things like emergency contacts, household management and security.

Enjoy your time away

You can go away with complete peace of mind, knowing your beloved small animal is in good hands!  We will provide you with regular updates on their wellbeing through messages, photo's or videos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe.
